The “Quiet Goddess” Mask and Bottomless Greed
The woman at the center of this shocking story is Tu (27 years old, born in 1998), who holds a bachelor’s degree and used to teach at a vocational school in Qidong, Hunan Province, China. To her colleagues and students, Tu was the perfect “good girl”, tall, beautiful, with flawless fair skin and a gentle, calm personality. Her steady teaching job came with a fixed salary and two long vacations a year, a peaceful life many dream of.

But behind that elegant classroom facade was a rebellious spirit and an insatiable hunger for wealth. Finding her teacher’s salary too small to satisfy her personal spending desires, in September 2023, the former teacher began plotting to make quick money in the underground world.
Using her looks to full advantage, Tu crafted a sophisticated “baiting” strategy. She started posting revealing, provocative photos as one-time-view flash images in WeChat groups to lure in men. Greedy for something new, these men quickly fell for the trap, eagerly adding her as a friend and getting pulled into private groups. That’s where her adult content business officially kicked off.
The Dirty Video Empire and the Self-Destruction of a Former Teacher
In these private groups, Tu filmed explicit videos of herself and set clear prices ranging from 199 to 299 yuan (about 700,000 to over 1 million VND), depending on how risqué the content was. At first, she was cautious and afraid of getting caught, but as she watched her account balance grow rapidly, the young teacher’s common sense faded in the face of money’s power.

Her recklessness peaked when she officially resigned from her teaching job to focus full-time on producing and selling “hot clips.” In just eight months at her peak, this operation earned her over 240,000 yuan (nearly 840 million VND). Among her clients, two wealthy buyers splurged on exclusive rights to 24 and 9 videos respectively, while the rest were sold individually to countless casual accounts.
Making money so easily trapped the former teacher in a dangerous illusion, until karma caught up. As the saying goes, “what’s online never truly disappears.” The explicit videos she sold quickly spread and were shared at lightning speed on dark platforms. One day, while browsing the web, Tu was stunned to see her own video displayed openly on the screen. Fear, regret, and shame overwhelmed the unmarried 27-year-old. Worried about her family, friends, and former students finding out, she broke down in tears and decided to turn herself in to the police, hoping for leniency.
Bitter End: 240,000 Yuan Earned for a 3-Year Suspended Sentence and Lifelong Stigma
During the investigation, the former teacher fully confessed to all her crimes, from how she boosted engagement, her pricing list, to her major clients. Her cooperation helped her avoid immediate jail time.
The local court recently handed down its final verdict: Tu was sentenced to 3 years in prison, suspended for 3 years, and fined 250,000 yuan (about 870 million VND) for “producing and selling obscene materials for profit.”

Many online users wondered why she had to pay a 250,000 yuan fine when she only earned 240,000 yuan. In fact, the 250,000 yuan penalty includes confiscating all 240,000 yuan of illegal earnings plus an additional 10,000 yuan as a deterrent and punishment for breaking the law. Though she avoids prison time with a suspended sentence, her teaching career is completely over, and she now carries a criminal record for life.
This case serves as a harsh warning for young people with misguided values who want quick riches without hard work. Huge profits from “shortcuts and shady work” always come with a price no one can afford, whether it’s freedom, honor, or the rest of your life.
