Not long ago, Elon Musk surprised many by challenging Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg to an MMA fight. Even though there’s still a lot of speculation and rumors around it, Elon has been very clear about his determination. Just recently, during a livestream on X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk actually drove himself to Mark’s house to ask about the fight.
Specifically, Elon recently hosted a 45-minute livestream to showcase Tesla’s latest beta version of their full self-driving software. Sitting in the driver’s seat with the car on full AI autopilot, Elon was relaxed as he interacted with viewers. Near the end of the stream, he planned to head back to Tesla’s headquarters, but his passenger suggested stopping by Mark Zuckerberg’s place to ask about the upcoming fight.
The whole fight idea started when Elon challenged Mark, and Mark agreed at first. But things fell apart because Elon couldn’t lock down a date and other complications came up. Back in the livestream, Elon pulled up Google Maps to find Mark’s house. He told viewers he just planned to knock, say hi, be friendly, and ask if Mark was really serious about the one-on-one fight.
But contrary to what everyone hoped, when Elon got to Mark’s house, he decided not to knock and just drove back to Tesla headquarters. So for now, the dream of a tech billionaire MMA showdown seems far from reality.
