With limited time to get familiar with the game and train with his new teammates, Fl.Elly faced plenty of challenges in his first Wild Rift season (Icon Series SEA Fall 2021), ultimately falling short in the Playoffs.
Specifically, going up against a fierce SBTC Esports squad, Elly and his team seemed overwhelmed and suffered a clean 0-3 defeat. The team that officially ended Team Flash Wild Rift’s run was none other than their longtime rival from Arena of Valor, Saigon Phantom.
Picking himself up, the 2K-rated pro shared on his Fanpage: “Called the team to take us far. New game, new experience, still rough around the edges. But don’t worry, quitting isn’t in my dictionary. We’ll come back stronger next season. Thanks to everyone who kept cheering for us. Even though we lost, reading your support helped ease the pain.”
Not many players get this kind of encouragement from fans, friends, and former teammates while chasing new heights. Refusing to give up after defeat, the Team Flash star declared: “Talk is cheap, I’ll prove it. No championship, no break from gaming.” This determination only strengthens his fans’ faith in their young leader.
