But the Gacha Game Announced Sad News Shortly After Launch
Cat Fantasy launched its SEA version around October 2023. Then, the English Global version was released in August 2024. However, shortly after the Global launch, the publisher suddenly announced they would stop supporting the SEA version.
Many believe this move shows the publisher prioritizing the Global version’s bigger potential, effectively abandoning the SEA version. Others worry that losing the original version could lead to unfortunate consequences for the game’s future.
Despite the buzz, the SEA version of Cat Fantasy will officially shut down on January 17, 2025.
