On July 27, Da Nang Hospital reported to the Da Nang City Center for Disease Control that some patients and their families left the hospital without permission during the lockdown.
Specifically, hospital leaders said that following the Covid-19 prevention committee’s directive, the hospital began lockdown at 1 PM on July 26. However, due to anxiety, some patients and their families left the hospital on their own.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Deputy Director of Da Nang Hospital, confirmed that authorities are investigating to bring those who left to Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) for quarantine.
It is known that among those who left without permission, 15 were from the Interventional Cardiology Department and 15 from the Urology Surgery Department.

Da Nang Hospital has requested the Da Nang City Center for Disease Control to coordinate and supervise these cases closely.
