Recently, heavy floods have devastated Central Vietnam, causing massive damage and leaving many people homeless. In response, the entire country has united to support the affected region. Beyond sending prayers and encouragement, many have quickly donated money and supplies to help ease the hardships faced by locals. Among them are well-known Vietnamese streamers and gamers.
Just recently, Linh Ngọc Đàm shared a series of Instagram stories urging people to contribute to Central Vietnam relief efforts. She even posted a screenshot showing a donation she made to singer Thủy Tiên’s account, with the message: “For our beloved Central Vietnam”.
The streamer’s gesture earned her lots of praise and helped spread the message of solidarity during this tough time. However, some anti-fans sent sarcastic messages accusing her of donating too late. Known for being straightforward, Linh Ngọc Đàm didn’t hesitate to respond.
Linh Ngọc Đàm explained that helping others is a good thing, but she doesn’t feel the need to broadcast it loudly. She shared the screenshot during a Q&A on Instagram just to encourage more donations, but in reality, she had already contributed earlier.
“Sorry, but I don’t need to announce to the whole world when I help others. I just happened to have time today, so I opened my ask box and made another transfer, sharing it to encourage more support. Don’t judge a gentleman by a petty person’s standards. People like you only know how to insult and find faults with good people. Have you even donated to Central Vietnam? Transfer your money first, then you can mock me all you want, I’m still fine,” Linh Ngọc Đàm wrote.
Besides Linh Ngọc Đàm, many popular streamers and gamers like Nam Blue, Tín Dubai, Hoàng Luân, Độ Mixi, ViruSs, and Ngân Sát Thủ have also called for donations to support Central Vietnam. The total amount raised by these gaming community KOLs has reached nearly 2 billion VND.
Many top streamers and gamers have united to support Central Vietnam during this crisis.
