Although NTN has been one of the most controversial figures in the Vietnamese YouTube scene, there’s no denying he remains a hugely influential vlogger. Every video he releases pulls in millions of views, despite a fair share of dislikes from haters. After a long break and announcing his retirement from YouTube, NTN recently declared he’s making a comeback with the goal of earning the prestigious diamond play button. He’s even shifting his content away from negativity and criticism to focus on fun and exploration videos.
This change has already brought positive results, with viewers starting to see him in a better light. This is clearly reflected in his channel’s follower count, which has surged past Cris Devil Gamer, another popular YouTuber, pushing NTN into the third spot among Vietnam’s top YouTubers by subscriber numbers. The top two channels are POPS Kids with 12.9 million subscribers and FAP TV with 12.1 million.
But NTN’s journey doesn’t stop here. In his latest YouTube post, he clearly stated his goal to set a record as the first individual YouTuber in Vietnam to earn the diamond play button, which requires over 10 million subscribers. Keep in mind, both FAP TV and POPS Kids are well-known group channels, while NTN and Cris Devil Gamer are the closest solo creators to hitting this milestone right now.
In fact, the gap between NTN and Cris Devil Gamer is very close, with both having around 9.24 million subscribers and only a small difference between them. Over time, both channels are expected to reach the 10 million mark soon. The hot topic right now is who will hit that milestone first and claim the record. NTN is working hard to evolve and grow, while Cris Devil Gamer has a massive fanbase thanks to his humor and fresh content. It’s tough to predict who will win this race.
