Just basic common sense tells us that most electrical devices hate water and it’s a strict no-no to get them wet because it can cause serious hazards. Even kids usually get taught this early on by their parents. But recently, the internet went wild after hearing about a boy who caused a major disaster in an elevator by peeing on the electrical box out of curiosity to see what would happen.
The incident happened in Hefei, Anhui, China. The boy was alone in the elevator when he suddenly got bored or wanted to do something different. After banging on the elevator doors, he got so bored he ended up peeing on the control panel below.
Notably, all of this was caught on security cameras. Watching closely, after messing with the elevator by banging on the doors and pressing all the buttons on the panel, he then peed on the control box. Obviously, no one should ever try this because the control box quickly short-circuited and caught fire, scaring the boy badly. Luckily, someone nearby rushed to help, so the boy wasn’t hurt, just shaken up.
Some reports say the boy was coming down from the 20th floor but the elevator malfunctioned, so he tried everything to open the door. Thankfully, after all his mischief, he got out of the elevator safely.
