In the early matches, the home teams struggled to find their rhythm and played unsteadily against opponents. It wasn’t until yesterday’s match that SGP beat HD, marking a rare win for the locals. Nicknamed “Mother Shrimp,” MC Phương Thảo was supposed to have an exciting post-match interview.
But that didn’t happen because the beloved MC ran into an unexpected problem.
Phương Thảo updated fans: “Finally got a Vietnam win, and then my dress ripped, everyone! Running to grab a backup dress now. No time to go on camera to interview SGP. So embarrassing.” Her female colleague had to step in for the interview.
This isn’t the first time Phương Thảo has faced this kind of awkward moment. During the Winter ĐTDV group stage, a similar incident happened. She explained it was because her body fits size M dresses, but she insisted on squeezing into size S, which led to the mishap.
Although she quickly got help and managed the situation, Phương Thảo couldn’t finish the scripted program because the director worried the problem might happen again.
