Recently, images of the game “Tới Bến quán” caught attention on a gaming forum
This is the graduation project of a student majoring in Multimedia Art & Design at Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts.

According to the game’s creator, Nguyen Thi Cam Tien, a Game Art design student, she shared on her personal page:

“Mobile Game ‘TỚI BẾN QUÁN’ – a game about Vietnamese cuisine.
Inspired by the simple, everyday lifestyle of Vietnamese people who often gather at street food stalls. I wanted to create a simulation game focused on running a food business featuring many Vietnamese dishes, because our cuisine is not only abundant but also diverse across regions and rich in culinary culture.
Due to time constraints, I couldn’t include all the Vietnamese dishes I originally wanted, but I worked hard to finish my graduation project so I could graduate.
When I have free time, I plan to draw more artwork for other Vietnamese dishes to see if I can reach the initial goal of 100 dishes set by my teacher, and improve the game’s UI further.
This project really pushed me to my limits because of my stubbornness and procrastination, but in the end, I finished it and almost cried.”

Making a big impression online, the game’s beautiful graphics and relatable content have fans excited:
“Is it on the app store yet? I want to play it”,
“Looks like I want to download it right away”,
“When will it be released?”…

Despite the excitement from gamers, Cam Tien had to share some disappointing news. She confirmed this is just a graduation project and there are no current plans to officially release the game as many hoped.
