MrBeast is known as one of the richest YouTubers in the world, and that’s hard to deny.
Thanks to his no-holds-barred spending, MrBeast has become the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform. One of his standout projects is the Prime Video show Beast Games, which fans call a real-life Squid Game, where 1,000 contestants compete for a prize of up to 10 million dollars.

The show became Amazon’s most-watched unscripted series ever, hitting 50 million viewers in its first month. But despite this success, MrBeast seems to regret the financial side of the project.
The 10 million dollar cash prize is the biggest in game show history. It started at 5 million, but MrBeast doubled it with a coin toss during the series. That’s just one reason he says that even though Amazon provided a 100 million dollar budget, he still had to pay tens of millions out of his own pocket to cover costs.

“Making Beast Games was not a smart financial decision,” MrBeast admitted. He also confessed to losing a lot of money during filming. He explained that just one episode of the 10-part series could cost over 15 million dollars, with the first two episodes reaching up to 50 million. In the end, he called himself a fool for investing so much in the show.

Still, while the money was lost, MrBeast gained a ton of fame. He’s wealthy enough not to worry about the losses. And when asked about a season two, he said he’d sign with Amazon immediately.
