However, in 2022, she surprised fans by announcing her marriage and quitting entertainment to become an office worker. Then in 2023, she shocked everyone again by shutting down her YouTube channel with nearly 1 million subscribers (970,000) and officially stepping away from fame. After a long social media break, Misa recently posted about her scam experience, leaving many stunned.
In her post, Misa recalled early days on YouTube when she got an offer to collaborate with a foreign magazine. At first, everything seemed professional. But when they asked for a video interview to “measure her body for costume fitting,” things got weird. “At first, they just asked me to wear lingerie and spin once on camera to ‘scan the model,'” she explained. But after several failed attempts to ‘scan,’ they started demanding more, which raised her suspicions and she ended the call immediately.
Just when she thought it was over, a few days later Misa received a threatening email demanding $30,000 or they would release the sensitive footage publicly. Instead of panicking, she stayed calm and even sarcastically told them to tag her if they wanted to gain more fans. She also pointed out that not everyone could stay so composed in such a situation and warned others to be careful.
