On the evening of May 21, Ngân 98 surprised her 2.2 million Facebook followers by posting a video addressing recent controversies around the weight loss products she’s selling, which were accused of being low quality. She showed an official letter she holds, which is a petition sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Food Safety Department.
Specifically, Ngân 98 emphasized that all products she represents have been clearly tested and guaranteed safe for consumers. She also personally conducted cross-check testing.
She believes the slander and attacks on her reputation, as well as the products she endorses, are signs of unfair competition. Ngân 98 has filed a complaint with authorities to protect both her business and consumers.
“The herbal pills X7 Plus, Super Detox X3, and X1000 are all made following regulations,” Ngân 98 said in the video.
Regarding rumors that her products contain banned substances, she firmly denied these claims as false.
Currently, she and related parties have documented the fabricated accusations and sent evidence to the proper authorities for handling.
On the same day, a source from Người Lao Động newspaper revealed that officials inspected ZUBU Trading and Service Company Limited, located on Pham Van Chieu Street, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.
This company is responsible for the product and registered the X1000 product for adults wanting to lose weight or dealing with obesity. According to the label, the product is manufactured by a GMP-certified factory in Dan Phuong District, Hanoi.
Recently, rumors have spread that the X1000 weight loss product linked to DJ Ngân 98 is not up to standard.
However, during the inspection, the source from Người Lao Động said the ZUBU company was not found at the location, and tax records show the company’s tax code is inactive.
Authorities are continuing to verify the product registration files and the manufacturing company in Hanoi. They are also trying to contact Ngân 98 directly to clarify related issues.
On the afternoon of May 21, reporters from Người Lao Động visited 154 Pham Van Chieu Street, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, the registered address of ZUBU Trading and Service Company Limited. They saw a sign with the company’s name on the building.
However, when reporters asked the security guard about ZUBU’s activities there, he simply replied, “I don’t know!”
Notably, when asked to help verify information since the sign was still there, the guard became annoyed and said, “Contact them yourself, I don’t know!” Then he chased the reporters away and quickly closed the building’s door.
Currently, Ngân 98’s shop website, linked on her verified Facebook page, is inaccessible. However, the X1000 weight loss product is still available on some e-commerce platforms.
DJ Ngân 98 (Võ Thị Ngọc Ngân) often livestreams product sales, including weight loss items. She frequently posts videos showing herself eating freely while maintaining a hot, slim figure to promote her products.
Some online sources even claim Ngân 98’s weight loss products are now available in the US.
