He then secretly recorded sensitive videos and uploaded them to websites for profit.
Videos and images related to the case quickly spread across multiple countries. Many viewers recognized internet celebrities, fitness coaches, and foreigners among those involved. Some even identified their boyfriends, husbands, classmates, and coworkers in the photos, with some victims as young as in their 20s.
The male streamer has been arrested by police. Initially, authorities detained the “female streamer” on suspicion of distributing obscene materials. Reports say that among those involved, three have been diagnosed with sexually transmitted diseases. While there is no proof linking these infections directly to “Hong Ty,” netizens are urging men who were close to him to get tested as soon as possible to protect their health.
