But the story of TikToker Pun has the gaming community, especially her gamer fans, totally jealous because of her thoughtful and supportive mom.
The adorable negotiation and surprising ending
Recently, a short clip posted on Pun’s TikTok account, which has millions of followers, quickly went viral and racked up millions of views. In the video, Pun is filming herself enjoying a home-cooked meal. After finishing her plate of veggies, she cheekily asks her mom for money to buy a game skin.
What really caught everyone’s attention was how Pun made her request and her mom’s reaction. Instead of saying no or complaining, her mom quickly agreed and happily gave her 2.5 million VND.
This moment melted hearts online because of how cute and loving the mother-daughter duo looked. Many praised the mom’s smart and caring parenting style. She not only fulfilled her daughter’s wish but also encouraged healthy eating habits, something many parents struggle with.

Gamers everywhere jealous: “Wish my mom was like this!”
The clip instantly became a hot topic in the gaming community. Comments flooded in with fans expressing their envy. Many shared their own struggles asking for money to buy skins, from getting scolded, being told it’s a waste, to having to work and save up every penny.
“If my mom was like this, I’d eat all my veggies every day!”
“2.5 million VND just for finishing a plate of veggies? What a deal! Wish I was Pun.”
“This is the way to ask for game money. Healthy and profitable!”

For those who don’t know, Pun once had to see a doctor because of poor appetite, malnutrition, and vitamin deficiencies. “It sounds crazy but I might be the first mukbang creator in Vietnam to get a nutrition check because I couldn’t eat well,” she admitted. She went to the doctor after showing signs like weight loss and eating less than before. For example, she used to finish a whole bowl of noodles but now feels full after half. Pun revealed she weighs only about 35 to 36 kg. The doctor diagnosed her with severe malnutrition.

Pun and her mom’s story shows a positive side of parent-child relationships. Understanding and supporting a child’s interests, even gaming, doesn’t mean spoiling them. Instead, it can be a chance for parents to teach valuable lessons and set positive conditions that help their kids grow in a balanced way.
