The tournament brings together top teams from strong regions like Vietnam (AOG), Thailand (RPL), Taipei (GCS), along with teams advancing from the Wildcard round. The event takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 26 to July 20, 2025.
Vietnam’s representatives at APL 2025: Vietnam has five teams competing at APL 2025, including:
- Saigon Phantom (SGP) – Vietnam’s number one seed.
- Team Flash (FL)
- BOX Gaming (BOX)
- One Star Esports (1S)
- Super Nova (SPN) (the only team that had to go through the Wildcard round and advanced to the Swiss Stage).

So far, all AOG representatives have been eliminated from the tournament.
Saigon Phantom (SGP) – A second straight shocking upset leaves fans stunned!
SGP, once expected to be Vietnam’s flagship team at APL 2024, failed to defend their title and were knocked out early. The swift elimination of the reigning 2023 APL champions disappointed both their fans and the entire Vietnamese Liên Quân community.
Many hoped the Saigon Phantoms could make a comeback in 2025, but their best finish was only top 6. The harsh reality hit hard as SGP suffered a crushing 4-1 defeat to ANK Gaming. This was a bitter result for a team boasting some of Vietnam’s best players.

Team Flash (FL)
After a strong showing in the Swiss Stage, FPT Flash suffered two consecutive losses. The quarterfinals of APL 2025 brought heartbreak as FPT Flash was upset and eliminated, ending their run prematurely.
Despite an impressive group stage and much of the quarterfinal match, losing at the last moment will surely teach the team valuable lessons about mental strength and resilience. Though the result was disappointing, FPT Flash’s spirit and dedication to representing Vietnam will be remembered fondly by fans.
“No one wants to lose, but failure is a lesson that helps us grow.”

One Star Esports (1S)
One Star Esports’ journey at APL 2025 ended early. As this was the young team’s first international tournament, the result was disappointing but also a milestone for reflection.
“Today’s One Star Esports still needs to work on experience, mental toughness, and match composure. Though young, we don’t choose to step back. We choose to learn, correct mistakes, and move forward step by step.
We apologize for not performing well this season, missing chances in key moments, and not bringing home victories.
Exiting early is not the end. It’s a wake-up call to train harder, be more disciplined, and especially to thank our fans who have never turned their backs on us. Every match and moment shared with you gives us the motivation to push harder and stay strong.
Thank you for your support and feedback. We look forward to returning stronger, more confident, and more formidable.”

BOX Gaming (BOX) and Super Nova (SPN) also faced similar early exits.

With these early exits at APL 2025, Vietnamese Liên Quân Mobile fans are left disappointed. However, they will continue to passionately support their favorite teams in domestic competitions. The hope of bringing glory back to Vietnam’s Liên Quân Mobile scene remains alive, just postponed until next season.
