It’s not uncommon for streamers to broadcast themselves searching for a partner on Tinder, especially on Twitch, even though this breaks the terms of service for both platforms. There have been plenty of funny and awkward moments when swiping goes too far, like the story of streamer KenArchie below.
KenArchie runs a modest Twitch channel with just over 1,000 followers. His Overwatch streams usually have low viewer counts and feel pretty quiet. Looking to attract more viewers, KenArchie decided to spice things up by adding some fresh, unique content to his streams.

One of his new ideas was to swipe on Tinder live during his stream. He paused his game, opened Tinder, and started swiping.
AS Mobile and a group of popular streamers fired back at haters with a slick rap MV. A famous streamer got kicked out by his mother-in-law just for streaming a “demonic game.” A clever streamer tried to bend the rules on stream but still got banned despite standing still.
It’s unclear if this was KenArchie’s first time on Tinder, but he kept swiping right on every girl that popped up without hesitation. On Tinder, swiping right means you’re interested and want to chat.
“Playing with fire will get you burned.” One of the girls he swiped right on turned out to be… his own sister. Realizing his huge mistake, he immediately closed Tinder and bitterly said, “We have to stop. I just swiped right on my sister.”

It seems KenArchie did manage to get more viewers, as the clip of this moment has over 4,000 views, a big jump compared to his usual videos.
Still, it’s anyone’s guess how he’ll explain this epic swipe fail to his sister. This is a good warning for anyone looking for love on Tinder: always double-check before you swipe, or you might accidentally match with a family member!
