17 community transmission cases:
+ Hanoi recorded 4 cases: 2 cases (BN1724-1725) are residents of Dong Anh and Me Linh districts, Hanoi, with a history of contact with BN1694. Another 2 cases (BN1814-1815) are from Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi, epidemiological details are still being investigated.
+ Quang Ninh province recorded 3 cases (BN1726, 1727, 1740), residents of Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh. BN1726 and BN1727 are linked to the outbreak in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province, BN1740 is the child of BN1726.
+ Binh Duong province recorded 1 case (BN1801), a resident of Phu Giao district, Binh Duong, who had close contact with BN1644.
+ Hai Duong province recorded 9 new cases. Among them, 5 cases are within lockdown zones, with epidemiological information still under investigation, and 4 cases were identified from previously collected samples from the Chi Linh outbreak area in Hai Duong.
19 cases detected upon immediate quarantine after entry:
+ Khanh Hoa province recorded 7 cases (BN1735-1739, BN1741-1742), Vietnamese citizens arriving from Germany, quarantined immediately upon arrival at Cam Ranh International Airport on flight VN30 dated January 28, 2021.
+ Binh Duong province recorded 1 case (BN1802), a Chinese national expert quarantined immediately after entry. The second test on January 30, 2021, was positive for SARS-CoV-2.
+ Tien Giang province recorded 2 cases (BN1803-1804), quarantined immediately after arrival from France at Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN10 dated January 29, 2021.
– Ba Ria – Vung Tau province recorded 9 cases (BN1805-1813) arriving from the US, quarantined immediately after arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN417 dated January 29, 2021.
