Recently, the story of Nguyen Ngoc Manh bravely saving a 3-year-old child who fell from the 21st floor inspired the community, with many calling him a “hero.” Around the same time, Nguyen Phuc Loc from Hoa Hiep Nam, Lien Chieu, Da Nang also found many “heroes” in his own family circle.
Nguyen Phuc Loc, 28, considers his brothers in the Hoang Hai S11 guild of JX1 EfunVN Legend of Wulin as people he deeply owes.
Loc’s family has faced tough times. Both he and his wife work as factory workers with modest pay, and his wife suffers from a serious heart condition. She had one surgery but still needs another to fully recover. This is a huge challenge since their finances are tight.
When Loc shared his family’s struggles with a guild brother in Hoang Hai S11, he only hoped to ease some of his worries. Instead, that brother rallied the JX1 EfunVN Legend of Wulin community in Da Nang to come together and help cover part of the medical costs.
Hearing about Loc’s situation and moved by the guild’s solidarity, Le Tuan Anh from Efun Vietnam also contributed from the company’s fund to support the gamer’s family financially.

With nearly 11 million VND raised by the community and Efun Vietnam, plus additional help from close guildmates, Loc was able to cover his wife’s medical bills and ensure her treatment. The surgery was successful, and while she is waking up, her health remains fragile and she still needs nutritional support.
Sharing about his wife’s condition, Nguyen Phuc Loc was emotional: “This is the first time I’ve received such huge support. We started just playing together in the game, then made friends with shared interests outside the game, and now the JX1 community is helping us. My wife and I are very grateful to the Hoang Hai guild brothers. We also wish the entire Efun family continued growth and success.”
Loc tearfully said that without the help of his gamer brothers, he doesn’t know where his wife’s health would be now. He firmly believes that playing the game and meeting these “heroes” was fate and a true blessing for him!
