Being a YouTuber is one of the most popular jobs right now, especially channels focused on cooking and food culture, which are booming. So much so that Marc Feren Claude Biart, a mafia boss on the run since 2014, decided to start a cooking YouTube channel while still fleeing the law. Unfortunately for him, that was exactly what led to his recent capture after posting his cooking videos online.

Marc Feren Claude Biart, 53, has been on the run since 2014 after being charged with drug trafficking. Using his cunning, he settled in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, living quietly enough that locals only knew him as Marc. But with plenty of free time and nothing much to do, he launched a YouTube channel to share his love and skills for cooking classic Italian dishes. Marc was careful not to reveal his face in any videos, always filming just his hands preparing meals, fully aware he was a wanted man. Still, fate had other plans. He was betrayed by a tiny detail that investigators couldn’t miss.

According to police, it was through these cooking videos that they spotted unique tattoos on Marc’s body, which led to his arrest shortly after. Authorities have not revealed what the tattoos looked like.
