Having a bright, handsome face is definitely something everyone wishes for, no matter their gender, age, or anything else. It’s easy to understand since who wouldn’t want to look better in their own eyes and others’? But sometimes, there are people who go against the trend, like this guy Murphy.
Murphy, 24, is a well-known young man from Manchester, England. His social media has a decent following thanks to his handsome looks. Most people would use this natural advantage to build their image, attract fans, and land lucrative endorsement deals. But Murphy did the opposite. Thinking he was too handsome, he spent 30,000 pounds (about 1 billion VND) on surgery to make his face look less attractive.
Murphy shared that every time he took selfies with filters, he wished his face looked “edited.” His first procedure was lip fillers at 19. Happy with the results, over the years he invested time, money, and effort to surgically alter his teeth, eyes, nose, and chin. Despite all this spending, his face didn’t get more attractive. If anything, it became quite strange.
In fact, just as he wanted, his face looks more artificial than ever with overly thick lips and unnaturally upturned eyes. When asked if he regrets his once handsome face, Murphy was honest, saying he’s very happy with his current look and has even gotten used to the criticism from the online community.
