This kind of investment is necessary as esports continues to grow: Free Fire was the top-grossing game in the US during the first quarter of 2021, beating PUBG Mobile, it’s popular in developing countries across Southeast Asia, Brazil, and India, and it’s even featured in the SEA Games 31 competitions.
