Even though she’s a girl, Pham Ngoc Kim Thanh (born 1997), who lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City, has had a special connection with gaming from a young age. Looking back, Kim Thanh recalls:
“Back when I was in third or fourth grade, my dad let me play his game account. I still remember he told me to do the daily quests but not to mess with the equipment. Every night when he came home, he’d scold me for not listening.”
“As a kid discovering so many new things, it was really exciting. But now my dad travels for work far away, so we can’t share those gaming moments anymore. If he were here, I’m sure we’d still be playing together.”
Fresh out of school, she wants to enjoy some free time to experience life before settling into a stable job. Currently, Kim Thanh works as a freelance model for fashion shops, so her schedule is pretty flexible.
Gaming is just for fun for her. The 1997-born gamer reveals she usually plays from early evening until around 2 or 3 a.m.: “That’s when the game is most lively with players. Even though I know it’s bad for my health and I have to sneak around my family, I still play because it’s fun… then I catch up on sleep in the morning.”
As a longtime player, Kim Thanh is pretty happy with JX1 EfunVN Huyền Thoại Võ Lâm: “The game closely recreates the original Võ Lâm Truyền Kỳ 1, which brings back so many memories of fighting alongside teammates for those who played before.
While playing, I’ve met quite a few friends, all older than me, who really know the game and have taught me many advanced skills.
The mobile version isn’t as thrilling as the PC one but it’s very convenient. I can do housework while keeping an eye on my account.”
At 24, she also openly points out some minor bugs and hopes the publisher will keep improving JX1 EfunVN Huyền Thoại Võ Lâm for smoother gameplay and a truly authentic Võ Lâm Truyền Kỳ experience on mobile.
The gamer also urges the JX1 EfunVN community to play respectfully and help protect the game from scams, so the environment stays clean, fair, and fun for everyone.
