For those who don’t know, Mr Beast is famous for going all out, throwing huge cash prizes at bizarre contests for strangers. Recently, he got the internet buzzing again with a strange money giveaway challenge.
The rules were pretty simple: four players stand at each corner of a box containing exactly $1 million in cash (about 23 billion VND). All they had to do was keep their hand touching the money and never let go for any reason. Sounds easy, right? But as time passed, you could clearly see the exhaustion and frustration take over the players.
After 33 hours of stubborn endurance, only Omar and Mark remained. Three hours later, after a day and a half, Omar unconsciously lifted his hand, surrendering the game and making Mark the winner who took home the full $1 million prize. Omar, who came in second, earned about $30,000 (nearly 700 million VND).
