Heavy scored a surprising win against Cerberus this afternoon (April 15), a rare bright spot for them in the ĐTDV Spring 2021 season. Throughout the first half of the season, GTurtle and his teammates suffered some tough losses. Before this match, Heavy was at the bottom of the standings with no chance to break into the top 4.
With this unexpected victory over Cerberus, Heavy got the chance to meet the lovely MC Bảo Hằng for a post-match interview. Since moments like this don’t come often, the “turtle” didn’t hesitate to brag a little:
“We didn’t need extra motivation to win this match. I just saw the top 4 race getting really intense, so we eased up a bit. Our opponent was strong in the first half but weaker in the second. With experience, I saw that coming.”
When MC Bảo Hằng asked who he thought would win the championship this season, GTurtle didn’t hesitate to jokingly say it would be Heavy, even though he and his team are no longer in the running.
This playful attitude made fans smile, saying that a little humor makes interviews way more fun.
Fans also noticed a funny pattern from recent matches: whenever it’s a team member’s birthday, that team ends up losing the match.
