When she first appeared, Bà Tân Vlog quickly became an internet sensation, a “new generation” YouTuber who grabbed a lot of attention from viewers. But over time, her content started to be seen as unhygienic and boring, and she faced a flood of negative comments.
Things got worse after the infamous “whole chicken porridge” incident involving Hưng Vlog, which further hurt their reputation. As a result, Hưng Vlog was called in by authorities, and some of his YouTube channels were deleted or had monetization disabled.
Following a string of controversies in a short time, Hưng Vlog’s presence quieted down, even though Bà Tân kept posting videos regularly. Many worried this would hurt their income since Hưng’s channels were doing well before being shut down, with solid subscriber and view counts. Meanwhile, Bà Tân’s channel views dropped to just a third or even a fifth of their peak.
However, those worries seem unnecessary now. Even though the filming still takes place in their modest home and the dishes remain simple, Hưng Vlog recently surprised everyone by showing off a brand-new luxury car. With the caption “Got married, guys,” fans quickly turned their attention to his “new wife.” The car’s value is said to be in the billions of Vietnamese dong.
This just goes to show, being a YouTuber doesn’t mean you’re broke, especially for well-known creators like Hưng Vlog and Bà Tân who still get steady views.
