Twitch is known for unpredictable streamer moments, but a female streamer giving birth live on stream was something no one saw coming.

Recently, streamer Fandy, who often plays games like World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and Overwatch, shook the Twitch community by livestreaming her entire labor and delivery, with tens of thousands of viewers watching in real time.

She chose to give birth at home with two professional midwives and a few close friends supporting her.

Although the idea sounded wild, everything went safely and smoothly. The broadcast lasted about 7 hours and 48 minutes, ending with the touching moment of Fandy holding her healthy baby girl in her arms. What made this event even stranger was the Twitch chat staying active throughout the entire birth. A large screen on the bedroom wall continuously displayed chat messages, while Fandy occasionally glanced at her phone to check fan reactions between contractions.

Some viewers made inappropriate comments, like offering 100 subscriptions if she named the baby after them or trying to get her to say something inappropriate during contractions. But most fans were warm and supportive, flooding the chat with “I witnessed this moment” and cute emojis celebrating the safe birth. Amid the chaotic but heartfelt atmosphere, viewers even spotted Twitch CEO Dan Clancy joining the chat and leaving a message: “Good luck and congratulations.”
