After Resident Evil: Village launched in April 2021, the horror game series became a hot topic among gamers once again. Especially Lady Alcina Dimitrescu, the tall vampire villain, who made a huge impression with her giant size and sexy figure.
But throughout the Resident Evil series, Capcom has created monsters even bigger than Dimitrescu, terrifying many players to the max. Here’s the top 10 biggest monsters in Resident Evil.
Del Lago

This is one of the few monsters Capcom officially gave a size for. According to the official guide, the first boss in Resident Evil 4 measures 19.8 meters long. That sounds about right, especially if you’ve dodged Leon S. Kennedy’s way around its sharp jaws. The big size also means it’s an easier target for Leon’s harpoons.
Del Lago started as a normal salamander but mutated into the giant creature you see above.
Nemesis-T Type
This giant beast first appeared in Resident Evil 3. It’s huge, terrifying, deformed, and muscular. Nemesis-T Type originally stood over 2.2 meters tall but kept growing throughout the game.
In the final form in the RE3 Remake, Nemesis becomes even more disgusting, growing as big as a building. It’s so tough that Jill had to use an energy cannon to take it down.
Malacoda
Malacoda in Resident Evil Revelations shares traits with legendary monsters. Its name comes from the demon guarding the 12th circle of hell in Dante’s Divine Comedy. It looks like a mix between the Alien’s Xenomorph Queen and a Kraken with tentacles.
Though its original host looked like a whale, Malacoda grew to the size of a yacht.
Eveline
Many players know Eveline as a character hiding a terrifying entity inside her. When this entity emerges, she transforms into a massive bio-weapon, especially in her final evolution. Capcom never revealed her exact size, and in Resident Evil 7 players never see her full form, but she likely has the power to grow large enough to cover the entire forest where she lives.
Haos
There’s no official size for this super monster. But it’s enough to know that Chris Redfield’s tall frame in RE6 looks like just a finger compared to Haos at full size.
We don’t even know if that’s Haos’s biggest form. It can shrink or grow, and its size limits haven’t been revealed. The giant form you see in RE6 might not even be its max size. Who knows how huge Haos can get?
