Because of this, plenty of aspiring streamers are willing to try all sorts of stunts on their broadcasts to get famous. But not every viewer appreciates overly provocative clickbait, and some streamers end up facing harsh consequences. A perfect example is Korean streamer Bami.
Bami started her career two years ago as a YouTuber reviewing food and luxury hotels. However, this content didn’t attract much attention, and her videos had very low views. After about a year, her YouTube channel had barely reached 6,000 subscribers.
Realizing YouTube wasn’t the right fit, Bami switched to streaming on AfreecaTV. Her career picked up as she attracted many followers thanks to her charming face and hot figure. She even earned the “Best BJ” award from AfreecaTV.
Just when it looked like Bami was on track for streaming success, she made a huge misstep. On May 15, during a livestream, instead of sitting at her computer like usual, she laid on her bed wearing a very revealing outfit. Throughout the stream, she kept drawing attention to her chest.
This wasn’t the first time Bami purposely laid down on stream and showed off like this. Because of repeated reports from viewers, she was banned from streaming for three days. Even her loyal fans disagreed with her clickbait tactics and unfollowed her in droves. This marked a major setback in Bami’s streaming career.
