Recently, his video showing how to fix a MacBook damaged by spilled coffee went viral, racking up millions of views quickly. Before becoming a YouTuber, Louis was an audio engineering intern. He bought a MacBook on eBay for a project, but it arrived broken, so he spent 15 minutes fixing it. After finishing the project, he sold the MacBook and made $250. At the time, he was only earning $400-600 a month, so making $250 in 15 minutes fixing and reselling the laptop sparked his business idea.
Inspired by this, Louis opened a repair shop that now employs 16 people. But unlike typical repair shops, if customers can’t afford the repair fees, he provides them with the necessary materials and video tutorials so they can learn to fix their devices themselves, avoiding expensive repair costs.
