YouTubing and streaming have become some of the most popular jobs among young people, seen as a chance to change their lives, gain wealth, and fame. Beautiful girls especially tend to get famous faster thanks to social media and media buzz. But that’s not the case for Niku, a YouTuber who’s been making waves online recently, not just for her beauty and charm, but because of her surprisingly tough financial situation.

Niku is still an unknown YouTuber, so unknown that no one even knows her real name, only guessing she’s around 22 or 23 years old. After graduating college, she tried to save money and invest in her own business. But the pandemic wiped out all her efforts and left her unable to even pay rent. Forced to return to her hometown, she had to rethink her path and decided to start fresh as a YouTuber.

Niku moved to Tsurui village in Hokkaido, a small village with just over 2,000 people and plenty of wildlife around. She rents a house for 7,000 yen a month (about 1.4 million VND) and started her YouTube career. Her videos are simple, featuring just herself, a tripod, and a camera recording her daily vlogs. She openly shares her struggles on her social media, and her usual meals show just how limited her resources are.

Her story has caught a lot of attention online. Many people are surprised that someone as beautiful as Niku could be struggling so badly. In the comments, fans express sympathy for her situation and hope she can improve her life, move back to the city, and chase her dreams.
