About a year ago, Hưng Vlog was one of the most talked-about YouTubers in Vietnam, but mostly for negative reasons. His pranks and tasteless jokes, especially the infamous hairless chicken porridge video, sparked a lot of backlash and even calls to boycott him. Hưng Vlog ended up facing penalties from authorities and had his YouTube channel shut down due to his controversial content.

Since then, both Hưng Vlog and Bà Tân Vlog have faded from the spotlight. Although they still upload videos regularly, their view counts have dropped significantly. However, recently Hưng Vlog’s name has gone viral again, but this time for something even worse. For reasons unknown, he became the subject of a viral TikTok video claiming he was arrested and facing up to 10 years in prison for gathering crowds to film during the pandemic.

But if you watch the clip closely, you’ll notice some odd details. The footage used is actually from when Hưng Vlog was meeting with authorities last year over his previous violations. Plus, he’s still uploading videos regularly on his YouTube channel. Hưng Vlog himself denied the rumors, saying, “All that information is completely false. I’m not in jail or anything. I’m still at home and working as usual.”

For now, it’s unclear why Hưng Vlog suddenly became the target of this cruel prank and clickbait.
