With the pandemic still ongoing, staying home all day has become pretty normal for most of us. Streamers have been teaming up for collabs to keep their content fresh and engaging during this time. Take streamer OutermostGold, for example, who recently let a fan show off their prized collection live on stream as a new type of content.

If you haven’t heard, OutermostGold is an Australian Rocket League commentator. Lately, he and his friend B_RadTTV have been streaming together, chatting about the Australian gaming scene. Since he’s more of a casual streamer with niche content, OutermostGold only has about 1,200 followers on Twitch.
On August 23, OutermostGold got a request from a fan who wanted to go live and show off his card collection. The streamer agreed, and the fan carefully displayed his well-kept cards on stream.

But here’s the funny part: the fan’s mom suddenly walked into his room wearing only a towel. Realizing things could get awkward fast, OutermostGold quickly switched to another screen, but the fan’s voice kept going on stream. “Oh my god, what is mom doing?” the fan grumbled, making OutermostGold and B_RadTTV burst out laughing.

On Reddit, OutermostGold explained the fan is just 20 years old and his mom is around 40 to 45. “If I hadn’t switched screens right then, the channel probably would have been banned for a few days,” he shared.
This moment was clipped into a video and quickly went viral on Twitch. In just two days, it racked up over 130,000 views and became one of the platform’s most popular clips.
