Yi Se Fei is one of the more well-known female streamers in Douyu’s dance scene, loved by many for her striking looks and a figure that fits the airline hostess style perfectly. Because of the nature of her work attire, she often faces gossip from neighbors about her job, personal life, and even her character.
During a recent live stream, the beautiful streamer opened up about her personal life to her followers: “Because I’m a dance streamer, my everyday clothes tend to be quite revealing. Recently, while I was streaming and someone came down to receive a delivery, the elderly and housewives sitting outside started pointing fingers and whispering to each other, saying things like, ‘She stays cooped up all day, dresses so revealing, she must be a mistress or someone’s kept woman.’ I honestly don’t know how to explain it to them.”
She then shifted the conversation to her current career: “I know this job means dealing with negative comments from outsiders. But I want people to understand that I’ve been through some really tough times to get where I am today. They see me often receiving gifts from fans and think those gifts just fall from the sky, but they don’t see the effort I put in.”
Finally, she expressed some regret: “Honestly, I started this career a bit late. It would have been better if I had started about two years ago when livestreaming was at its peak, with fewer strict rules and a huge audience. Unfortunately, now it’s the era of short video platforms.”
