In some countries, shortages and scalping have become a real headache for many. But in the middle of all that chaos, one guy proved the saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is true. Unsurprisingly, his bragging quickly made him the target of a massive online backlash.
Recently, a guy in Japan shocked a lot of people. Going by the Twitter handle re_zerokara__, he posted a screenshot from Amazon showing he successfully ordered 122 PS5 consoles. Even more impressively, his “assistant” managed to snag 500 units. The gamer bragged that even though he hasn’t officially sold any yet, just a quick calculation shows his profit could easily buy him a brand-new car.
Of course, no one was happy seeing this kind of bragging. Before long, a wave of angry comments and attacks from the online community came crashing down on him. The backlash was so intense that he ended up locking his account shortly after.
Even after his account was closed, the post kept drawing huge attention and sparked plenty of debate online. Some doubted if the post was even real, while others suspected it was a PR stunt to lure gullible people looking to make quick money into contacting him.
