Delita is obsessed with power and becomes enslaved by it, blurring his sense of truth and purity. He’s a complex character, and so is Princess Ovelia, his wife.
When their conflict reaches its peak, Ovelia’s hatred drives her to try to kill Delita. But he kills her first. Now a king with everything, Delita has lost the most important thing in his life. This is one of the saddest and most haunting love stories in the entire Final Fantasy series.
