When we think of crocodiles, most of us picture fierce animals ready to attack humans at any moment. More precisely, they are some of the most dangerous creatures in freshwater habitats, and everyone wants to avoid them. But recently, the internet was stunned by the story of a man who narrowly escaped after being surrounded not by one, but three crocodiles. Even more shocking, he not only survived but managed to fend off these deadly predators.

The man in this story is Alexander Chimedza, a young guy from Zimbabwe. While fishing for red worms near a pond outside town, he was suddenly attacked by a crocodile that lunged out of the water and bit his left arm. Before he could react, another crocodile appeared and clamped down on his right arm. As he struggled against the two trying to drag him underwater, a third crocodile bit into his tendon.

But unlike most people who might give up in such a terrifying situation, Chimedza showed incredible courage. He punched one crocodile right in the eye, then shoved his hand deep into its mouth, forcing water into its stomach and causing it to drown. Luckily, friends on shore helped by throwing stones at the crocodiles’ heads. After a fierce fight, the crocodiles finally let go and fled.

However, Chimedza’s condition remains serious. Even though he received prompt hospital care and underwent several surgeries, he has been left permanently disabled in his right arm.
