But now, those tough times seem to be easing. Forums are buzzing again with “GPU market” posts where people trade and grab graphics cards after a long period of having to hold back.
According to a recent PCGamer report, the computer hardware market, especially graphics cards, is showing positive signs. PCGamer notes that many component factories are back to full capacity, causing GPU shipments to surge dramatically. Specifically, compared to 2021, the number of graphics cards produced in 2022 is expected to increase by 30%. This boost should help stabilize prices after the long period of price hikes.
However, price drops aren’t uniform since production capacity and business strategies vary by brand. For example, a brand new, fully boxed Galax RTX 3070 (powerful enough to run almost all current games) has seen a massive price drop that surprised the gaming community.
Looking at other GPUs on the market, things are generally stabilizing: no more “sold out” situations or forced bundle deals where you had to buy a whole PC just to get a GPU. But a deep price drop like the one for the Galax RTX 3070 is still very rare.

Checking out retailers like BảoLongPC, KCC Shop, and PC component groups, a Galax GeForce RTX 3070 now costs just over 11 million VND, while the RTX 3080 is around 17.5 million VND, prices unseen during the past two years of price surges.

It looks like the dream is coming true with these attractive prices, showing the GPU makers’ commitment to meeting gamers’ expectations and delivering real value from the RTX 3000 series.
