Glaciered is a sci-fi action game set 65 million years in the future, where you become a strange bird called the Tuai that can glide underwater using a unique jet propulsion system. This bird has two jet exhausts under its tail and two large vents on its chest, resembling the air intakes of a fighter jet. Thanks to this “engine block,” the aquatic bird moves quickly and agilely through the water.
The game’s trailer shows you gliding past lush green sea grass, admiring countless ocean species, and even battling giant sea monsters like sharks and marine reptiles.
The Tuai fights using crystal-sharp fin blades on its wings. It’s not just close combat either, the bird can launch “throwing blades” at enemies to deal damage. With its deep ocean setting full of wonders and action-packed gameplay, this game promises a mix of vibes from hits like Abzû and Bayonetta.

According to the Steam page, the Tuai is a super-intelligent evolved bird species. Though small, with its powers and smarts, it aims to “rule” Earth just like its ancestors, the dinosaurs, once did. The trailer also shows the creature on a mission to stop an evil force called Everwinter that threatens the ecosystem’s balance. The game’s release date hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s likely coming in 2023.
