After upgrading to iOS 16, some iPhone 14 Pro devices have been randomly freezing, with touch controls becoming unresponsive.
In some cases, users can temporarily fix the problem by holding down the power button and volume up button to restart the phone.
However, this method doesn’t always work. Some users report that when their iPhone 14 Pro freezes, they can’t perform any actions and have to wait for the device to unfreeze or run out of battery.
It’s still unclear whether this issue is caused by hardware or software. But many users are worried, especially since not long ago, several iPhone 13 Pro Max units experienced screen problems like sudden green or purple tinting, flickering, and persistent screen lines.
Some users said their iPhones started having issues after updating to iOS 15.6, while others who didn’t update still faced random screen glitches.
