MrBeast, the YouTuber who recently surpassed PewDiePie to become the most subscribed individual creator, is probably no stranger to many people. Famous for his wealth and unique, creative challenges that are hard to copy, MrBeast constantly delivers exciting surprises and, most importantly, valuable prizes for participants. Recently, he got gamers hyped again by teaming up with Fortnite to host a tournament with a prize pool of $1 million (nearly 24 billion VND).

Specifically, the YouTuber collaborated with Fortnite to launch a map called MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge, where players can log in and take part in the challenge. The event is set for 12pm ET on December 17 (midnight December 18 local time), and all Fortnite players worldwide are welcome to join. What makes this special is that it’s not a typical Fortnite battle royale map. Instead, MrBeast’s challenge requires players to jump and dodge obstacles while collecting coins, similar to mobile games like Temple Run.

The event rules are simple. Players can compete unlimited times, but only their highest score during the event counts. When time runs out, the player with the highest score wins the $1 million cash prize. While there’s only one cash winner, the next 100,000 top scorers will each receive an in-game item called the Brest Brella Umbrella, which serves both as a cosmetic and a keepsake from the event.

On top of that, Epic Games is preparing to add a bunch of MrBeast-themed items, emotes, and skins to Fortnite just in time for the event.
