If you’ve watched TikTok or short videos on YouTube or Facebook, you’ve probably come across a creator who calls himself the “Spicy King.” This TikToker has 3.1 million followers and is known for his fiery food challenge clips.
However, some TikTok users have doubted his videos, suspecting that he just puts the spicy food in his mouth without actually swallowing it. Still, there’s no denying that the “Spicy King” challenges attract tons of views.
Recently, though, he faced criticism after posting a video inviting his mom to enjoy a big lobster feast. The problem? The clip showed flies swarming around the food, even a lot of them. This made viewers call the video unhygienic.
Many viewers said the video’s message might be well-intentioned, but the filming location and setup were inappropriate, especially for social media. Hopefully, the TikToker will take this feedback and improve his video quality going forward.
