The 2023 Spring season of Đấu Trường Danh Vọng (ĐTDV) has already seen two weeks of matches. Fans have only spotted MCs Phương Thảo and Kim Ngân hosting the events, which left many Liên Quân fans wondering why Lyly Sury was nowhere to be seen.
Previously, during a livestream where she opened up about a memorable slip-up at the APL 2022 finals, Lyly hinted at her absence from ĐTDV. She shared that she’s gone through a lot of personal growth and become a better version of herself. But despite that, she’s been questioning whether hosting is really the right path for her. She revealed she might skip the 2023 Spring season to take a step back, learn more, and explore other stages.
Without any official word from Lyly, rumors started swirling. Recently, the girlfriend of pro player Quang Hải took to social media to set the record straight:
“Regarding why Lyly Sury isn’t appearing at ĐTDV: To avoid wild speculation and constant questions that have been tiring for her, I want to update everyone directly. Lyly won’t be part of this season. There’s only one highlight match each week, and Thảo is already handling that. Lyly will be at home learning and reacting live to the matches. There’s absolutely no ban or anything like that. She’s just taking a step back to improve herself quietly with her family.”
Even though fans can’t see Lyly on the official broadcast, they can still catch her on her personal channel. She’s back streaming regularly, keeping her community engaged.
