What sounds like a plot from a movie actually happened to this player. He met a girl through a game. They climbed the ranks together and eventually developed feelings for each other.
But just when things seemed happiest, the gamer discovered his girlfriend was messaging another player. This third player had even spent money to buy her in-game skins. When he found out, the guy left a single message and decided to quit the game, erasing all memories and moments they shared.
After wiping everything away, he returned to normal life. But recently, after 1,414 days, he logged back into the game and was met with a big surprise. His in-game mailbox was full of messages from that same girl.
She explained that she only had a crush on the other guy and just accepted gifts, but nothing beyond that. She asked for a chance to explain, but after four years, it was probably too late. The gamer had since married and moved on, and in the end, it was all just a memory.
The gamer shared, “Back then, I wasn’t clear-headed enough to handle things. Looking back, I do feel some regret, but even if we had talked then, I wouldn’t have believed her story. Luckily, quitting the game led me to meet my current wife and have a happy life. If I had kept playing, who knows if I would have ever found my ‘happy ending.'”
