We often waste our youth and health on bad habits, only to face unexpected consequences later on. A clear example is Fenella Fox, a 29-year-old social media star known for her stunning looks.

Fenella, from Worcestershire, England, recently shared a cautionary tale for many young people. Famous from an early age, Fox developed poor habits, spending over 14 hours daily gaming, scrolling through news and videos on her iPad and phone. By 2021, she started experiencing headaches and neck pain. Over time, the pain worsened, forcing her to go to bed early just to escape it. But things only got worse, reaching a peak in November 2021.

“Sometimes I thought I was dizzy from love, but it was constant dizziness,” Fox revealed. Even then, she couldn’t break free from her phone addiction, using her devices from the moment she woke up until she went to sleep. Her condition became so bad she had to move back to England to live with her parents. At one point, she even needed a wheelchair to get around. Doctors diagnosed her with digital dizziness syndrome, a growing condition that disrupts the nervous system’s ability to deliver blood and oxygen to the brain and body, causing dizziness.

Currently, she is working on walking again after trying to quit her phone addiction. Fox says every time she picks up her phone, the dizziness returns. Though it’s heartbreaking since her phone was her main source of income, she’s had to make this sacrifice for her health.
