Weeks have passed, and Call of Duty Mobile players on VNG servers are still waiting anxiously to log back into their game. The login issue with Facebook accounts was addressed by the game’s official Fanpage: “Regarding the login error through Facebook, the publisher is working closely with Tencent and Facebook to complete the necessary procedures to fix the issue and upgrade login security.”

Recently, Call of Duty Mobile VNG’s Fanpage shared another update: “Regarding the login error, the publisher is finalizing the fix and security upgrade for Facebook login. Players logging in via Play Now, Apple ID, or Facebook can still access the game and enjoy the new features.”

For players affected by the Facebook login issue, you can temporarily log in using two other methods and return to your original account once the problem is fixed.”

That’s the plan for the future, but right now many players are “jumping ship” from VNG servers to the international Call of Duty Mobile servers. However, downloading the international version means facing a massive file size, nearly 20GB. That’s huge for a mobile game.

According to many players, the Call of Duty Mobile client on VNG servers has also grown to around 22GB. Some players bitterly shared that they downloaded over 23GB but still couldn’t log in for a whole week. Mobile games aren’t light anymore. But after downloading such a huge amount of data, only to be stuck unable to log in, it’s really tough luck for the players.
