His prank cost him big time.
At esports tournaments, players, fans, and attendees often bring playful, creative energy that adds to the fun. But there’s a line, and Boogles, an unknown male YouTuber, recently crossed it, sparking a lot of controversy.

Boogles is still pretty unknown in the YouTube community, with less than 1,000 subscribers. Maybe that’s why he’s been trying hard to get attention by pulling stunts at the recent DreamHack Melbourne event. Most of his antics were harmless and meant to entertain, until he started walking around the venue spraying deodorant all over the crowd.

This quickly made everyone uncomfortable. Most deodorants contain chemicals like butane, alcohol, and isobutane, things nobody wants to breathe in. Many people started feeling short of breath or got headaches just minutes after exposure. Event staff immediately told him to stop, but Boogles kept spraying until he was forced to quit.

Although he wasn’t kicked out immediately, the organizers didn’t let it slide. ESL has now banned Boogles from all their events. He posted an apology video, but judging by his expression, he didn’t seem too sorry.
