When it comes to Liên Quân Mobile, it’s easily one of the most popular mobile games in Vietnam. In terms of release time and player base, few games can match Liên Quân Mobile. It’s also frequently featured in mainstream media, with VTV calling it a “flagship game.”
This shows that while Liên Quân might not be globally famous, it’s the most successful mobile MOBA in Vietnam with the largest player community. Many young gamers regularly play and follow live broadcasts of its tournaments.
That’s why the foul language used by a well-known caster for this game definitely has a negative impact on the mindset and development of younger players. Notably, this isn’t the first time this caster has made uncontrolled, offensive remarks on their personal social media.
Most recently, the caster shared a live stream filled with sarcastic and even profane comments: “Go home, I’ve seen enough today. **, yelling like ***, yelling and shouting, just yelling at the tower. Give me that lousy tower. There, go home, go home!”
Earlier, in January 2022, this caster posted strong language on their personal Facebook: “So it’s all my fault, yes I take it all.” In the comments, they also responded with quite offensive words to the community. This likely came after some fans blamed the loss on the caster’s predictions and well-wishes. However, as a public figure in the community, such inappropriate remarks can harm both their image and that of Liên Quân.
It’s important to remember that although Liên Quân Mobile is rated 18+, many young players are still developing their personalities and values. Offensive language used publicly by an influential figure can have a harmful effect on a large part of the audience. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Liên Quân players have had to witness such crude language from someone who should be setting a positive example.
