Not only does he have one of the largest followings as an individual creator, but MrBeast is also known as one of the wealthiest YouTubers out there. This makes sense since he’s extremely generous in his videos. He often gives huge sums of money to strangers and creates challenges with prizes worth millions of dollars for participants.
What many don’t know is that besides YouTube, MrBeast runs the food brand Feastables, which pulls in an estimated $600 to $700 million a year. Plus, MrBeast admits that each YouTube video can earn him over a million dollars. For brand deals, that number can triple. Despite all this wealth, MrBeast recently shocked fans by admitting he’s not as flush with cash as everyone assumes. The reason behind his so-called “poverty” is pretty surprising.
Specifically, MrBeast doesn’t have direct access to his huge earnings. Even though he hired a CFO, it’s actually his parents who have the final say on how the money is spent. Talking about his food company, MrBeast explained that while the initial revenue sounds massive, he reinvests a lot of it back into the business, buying supermarkets, a private island, and funding his YouTube videos.
It just goes to show, even someone as rich as MrBeast sometimes complains about being broke. It’s hard to believe that despite being a billionaire, most of his income is still managed by his parents.
