Oside Oluwole, a 24-year-old gamer from Nigeria, successfully completed an epic challenge by playing the football game Dream League Soccer nonstop for three days at his home. He used an iPhone connected to a TV screen to set a new world record.
According to Guinness World Records, Oside smashed the previous record of 50 hours straight, set by English gamer David Whitefoot in 2022, by a huge margin of 25 hours. During this incredible feat, Oside played a total of 500 matches, taking only 5-minute breaks each hour to eat and use the bathroom.
Speaking to the media, Oside admitted the challenge was tough: “I really enjoyed playing continuously for 75 hours with just a few breaks. It wasn’t an easy task, but I was very happy to complete the challenge. It was an amazing moment, a very exciting event, and I’m grateful it went well.”
The gamer proudly showed off his official Guinness World Record certificate, confirming his new marathon gaming achievement. With this success, he hopes to raise funds for a local hospital in his hometown of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
